Established in 2009.The Canyon King received a new home in its 'rockin' dry dockin' location serving gourmet pizzas, fresh salads and homemade pastas. Our bar serves a fine selection of wines, premium draft beer and signature cocktails.
The Canyon King paddle wheeler was envisioned and built by the legendary Tex McClatchy in his backyard, on the banks of the Colorado River in Moab, UT. The launch of the Canyon King was a spectacular affair unfortunately, the shifting sand bars of the Colorado River proved too difficult to navigate. In 1979 the beloved 'King' was trucked to the north end of Lake Powell for her journey into the hearts of Page locals and millions of visitors to Lake Powell.
Thousands of weddings, parties and events were celebrated on board this vessel. When the Canyon King lost her coast guard certification in 2007 and could no longer serve as a tour boat, former owner Gary Francis stepped in to preserve the precious memories and give the Canyon King her final port of call.
It is now owned by Doug Gardener, and managed by Chris Shores and Jeremy Becenti.
